A BRIDGE OVER THE RAILROAD AND ANOTHER OVER PANTHER CREEK ARE ALSO BEING PAVED. “WHEN WE’RE DONE WITH PAVING WE’LL START WORKING THE MEDIANS, LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, LIGHTING IS GOING IN.” AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS WILL BE INSTALLED AT PRESTON ROAD AND UNIVERSAL PARKWAY. “WE’LL OPEN UNIVERSAL PARKWAY THE SAME TIME WE OPEN PANTHER CREEK PARKWAY. WE PLAN TO OPEN 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC BY LATE SEPTEMBER, EARLY OCTOBER." WHEN IT'S COMPLETE, DRIVERS WILL BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FROM FM 423 ALL THE WAY TO COIT ROAD ON PANTHER CREEK PARKWAY. IT WILL ALSO HELP EASE TRAFFIC ON ELDORADO PARKWAY PLUS MOVE TRAFFIC AROUND THE FUTURE UNIVERSAL KIDS RESORT AND FIELDS DEVELOPMENT. “RIGHT NOW ELDORADO HAS 40 TO 50,000 MOTORISTS PER DAY. WHEN WE OPEN PANTHER CREEK AT THE END OF THE YEAR, A LOT OF CARS WILL USE PANTHER CREEK.” THE PROJECT COST ABOUT $55 MILLION AND IS FUNDED BY BONDS AND ROADWAY IMPACT FEES PAID BY DEVELOPERS.
