Consider and act upon approval of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Frisco, Texas, canvassing the election returns of the May 6, 2017 General Election for the purpose of electing the Mayor and two (2) members of the Frisco City Council (Place Nos. 5 and 6) to fill expiring terms; declaring the results of the General Election; ordering a Runoff Election to be held on June 10, 2017 for the purpose of electing a Council Member to Place No. 6; designating Early Voting polling places and hours; designating Election Day polling places and hours; ordering Notices of Election to be given as prescribed by law; appointing the Collin County Elections Administrator and the Denton County Elections Administrator to administer the Runoff Election; providing for the appointment of Election Judges; authorizing the Mayor and City Secretary to take all actions necessary to comply with applicable election laws.
